Puncture Kit & Kate Shortt
David Osborne – known as Puncture Kit – plays a hybrid drum kit and bicycle. He has performed at many major events including the 2012 Olympic Games Cycling Race, Glastonbury Dance Village, the 2013 and 2014 Tour De France, The BRIT Awards and also at the O2.
Kate is a classically trained cello player, but also plays jazz, pop and does improvisation with poets. She is also a cello comedian. Trained at the Guildhall, she has played with many top musicians and also plays with the Northern Lights Symphony Orchestra. She has worked with Gary Kemp (Spandeau Ballet), Cliff Richard, Tears for Fears, Take That and Simon le Bon (Duran Duran), as well as with jazz musicians Christine Tobin and Phil Robson.
A contrasting pair, the two will be performing for the first time together at the launch party on Wed 22nd October, with a set especially created for the evening.
